# Duplicate a template

> Copies a template into a new one.

The copy starts at revision 1 with the original's current design. Passes stay with the original.

  A unique value for this request.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="name" type="string">
  A name for the copy, up to 100 characters.
</ParamField>

### Response

Returns the new [template](/api-reference/templates/get).
